The Road Best Traveled, a consumer travel publication, distinguished the Pointe as “one of the 12 Best Waterfront Inns” in America.

This past year, USA TODAY deemed our oceanfront inn as one of the “10 great places to sit on the porch.”

Country Inns Magazine, in their August 1999 issue, proclaimed us as “the ideal place for a waterside escape.”

In the October 1999 issue of Southern Living, the Elizabeth Pointe Lodge was described as a “comfy country inn without peers on Amelia Island.”

Money Magazine, in the June, 1993 issue, proclaimed the Pointe as one of “the fifty great values in America today.” This distinction was shared with only two other resorts, one of which was Robert Redford’s Sundance resort in Utah.

Augmenting the above, Inn Business Review selected the lodge as one of “The Ten Outstanding New Inns” in the United States for 1992. “Inn Business” is a national trade publication covering the lodging industry.
