The perfect way to spend an evening on Amelia Island is dining al fresco in one of the many restaurants that offer delicious cuisine in the open air. While many of our guests choose to stay at the Inn to dine oceanfront at The Pointe Restaurant, there are other wonderful outdoor dining options.  Here are a few of our favorites.

Fresh seafood and entrees with a local flavor are served in a private brick patio courtyard at Joe's 2nd Street Bistro. The shrimp and grits are always a great selection.

The newest addition to the downtown restaurant scene, 801 Kitchen and Bar serves up Southern comfort food with a new twist.  Enjoy your meal and perfect handcrafted cocktail under the stars on the brick patio.

The Salty Pelican is a local drinking hole with the best sunset view on the island.  A casual atmosphere with fresh local seafood and an extensive drink menu and views of the harbor that can't be beat, this is a place to relax and take in the authentic Amelia Island experience.

At Burlingame Restaurant in historic downtown, Chef Chad creates seasonally inspired, modern American food with a twist and an upscale outdoor dining option. A bottle of wine and beautifully perfect entrees, this is a wonderful option for a special night out on the island.

On the south end of the island, Bar Zin, an American bistro, offers patio seating and an extensive wine menu.

A favorite of locals and guests alike, España Restaurant & Tapas serves Spanish and Portuguese flavors in a beautiful outdoor garden setting. Be sure to order the house made sangria to enjoy with your meal.

Café Karibo’s offers two patio areas to enjoy casual eclectic cuisine and craft brews.  The sangria and salads are local lunch favorites.

Authentic crepes and world cuisine are offered in a beautiful large patio at The Patio Place wine bar and bistro.  This laid-back spot offers brunch, lunch, and dinner with an extensive wine menu and live music in the evenings.
